We are a leader in the Manufacturing and Distribution of Commercial GLASS now have ongoing positions available for **Qualified Glass Glaziers **to join our growing team in Smithfield.

The available positions that will be available are DAY Shift Monday - Friday 40hr week with opportunities of overtime where required which will include weekend work. This position will be an ongoing assignment with the view to permanency for the successful Applicants.

**Glass Processing**

We are looking for qualified glass glaziers, you would need to have min 2 years experience and have knowledge of different types of glass manufacturing machinery. On the job training will be provided for limited knowledge.

**Main duties**:

- CNC machine operating and using Autocad
- Glass Polishing
- Glass Cutting
- Manual Handling of Glass
- Flexible to work in multiple sections
- General housekeeping maintenance of the work space
- Liaising with supervisors and management
- Assisting team
- Washing Glass

**The successful applicant will possess the following skills & experience**:

- Previous experience within a similar role would be advantageous
- Experience with machine operations highly desirable
- Experience with Measuring and cutting glass products
- Must be physically fit as manual handling will be involved
- Ability to take direction from supervisors and management
- High attention to detail and a positive working attitude
- Experienced with working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work in a team environment.

Pay: $26.17 - $37.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay

- Australia (preferred)
