What does an Employment Consultant do at Campbell Page?

Employment Consultants focus on appropriate and sustainable employment outcomes for our customers. We manage this in a variety of ways, and we are looking for someone who isn’t shy to pick up the phone and use their networking skills. Employment Consultants also need high levels of customer service, so our customers can feel valued on their employment journey.

**In an average day, you’ll be**:

- Meeting with customers to discuss their progress toward employment
- Assisting customers with identifying and moving towards vocational goals
- Coach and train customers to increase their employability skills
- Building local relationships and partnerships with complementary services to refer our customers to these services when they need
- Developing relationships with employers in the local community
- Reverse marketing and advocating for our customers to those prospective employers

What do you need to thrive and succeed within this role?

**We’re looking for someone who**:

- Is passionate about achieving the best outcome for our customers, us (Campbell Page), and of course you
- Can ‘think outside the box’ when it comes to supporting our customers to achieve their employment goals
- Can manage competing priorities/multitask (some days can get busy)
- Is highly motivated and enthusiastic about making a real change in people’s lives
- Can work efficiently while managing a high level of compliance
- Can successfully obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check

Ideally you will have 12months + experience as an Employment Consultant or similar role within Employment Services. We have a large team that is spread across several sites, some days will require you to operate a site as a single Employment Consultant. We have great supports in place, but you will need to be confident and motivated to work autonomously.
