Working Location: Brisbane This is a physical role and you will be hands on assisting the team where required, so you must be able to perform the physical aspects of the role, such as lifting, bending, moving stock. You have to be able to work well as a sole contributor and as a team. Objectives and Responsibilities You will be required to Manage the warehouse to achieve the following: Ensuring the warehouse runs at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being our primary goal, by supervising, organising, directing and establishing, monitoring and managing operation goals. Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics Ensure all customers orders are picked, packed and dispatched in accordance with company policy; Processing incoming stock accurately, and liaising with the purchasing department Maintain an efficient work environment & ensure the warehouse is kept organised and tidy Ensure warehouse procedures are maintained and updated as required Evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes Inspect warehouse and keep the warehouse clean and safe Oversee and manage logistics utilized to transport products to customers and communicating with drivers and air partners to ensure efficient delivery of packages Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives Work closely with legal and safety departments to make sure activities remain compliant Knowledge of an Inventory Management system is an advantage Stocktaking Forklift driving Accepting deliveries Unpacking containers Attributes we are looking for: A positive and enthusiastic personality An ability to work in a fast paced environment A high level of accuracy and good attention to detail Proactive and efficient philosophy Sound computer skills An ability to work as part of a team and take direction from the Country manager Current Forklift License Current Driving License Warehouse experience Flexible with duties This role is fast paced and demanding, we are looking for someone that is up for a challenge.
