**Desired skills include**:

- Completion of the Studies of Language and Reading (SOLAR) beginner and intermediate course
- In depth knowledge of the Science of Reading
- Demonstrated ability to coach literacy instructional routines across a P-12 campus
- Capacity to lead whole school Collegial Engagement and Induction processes for new, beginning and experienced teachers
- Indepth knowledge and ability to engage in classroom coaching of evidence based practices for students with complex disabilities in a special school
- Evidenced ability of data literacy to lead case management meetings
- Capacity to lead whole school change management processes in pedagogy (such as positive behaviour support, Alternative and Augmentative Communication, literacy
- Demonstrated evidence of ability to model high impact teaching strategies in working with students with disabilities, specifically in a special school.
