**Your areas of responsibility**:

- Supplier Management: Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services at the best possible cost. Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable delivery of goods and services.
- Procurement: Lead procurement activities, including the sourcing, negotiation, and management of contracts for goods and services.
- Packaging: Develop, evaluate and implement packaging strategies to optimise quality, sustainability, product presentation and protect products during transport.
- Strategy Setting: Develop and implement category strategies that align with the overall business strategy.
- Subcontractor and 3rd party Management: Manage subcontractors and third-party providers to ensure that they meet quality and regulatory standards and contractual obligations.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage procurement-related risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Sustainability Sourcing: Develop and implement sustainable procurement strategies that align with the organisation's sustainability goals.

**Qualifications we are looking for**:

- Tertiary qualifications in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement category management or supply chain management role.
- Experience in managing procurement categories.
- Strong vendor negotiation, contract management, and supplier management skills.
- Experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills desirable.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
