Service Manager

Our current Service Manager is making a sea change So we are making this an opportunity to take our already successful Toyota Service team to the next level. We want to find someone experienced in a Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager role who has a desire for continuous improvement and positive change. We need someone to lead our Toyota Service team into the future of EVs and AI; train the next generation of Technicians using state of the art Toyota service technology and lead the way in providing service and standards of excellence to retain, increase and impress our customer base. **Your day will include.**
- Leading & managing an established team of 38 Toyota Service employees: 4 Service Advisors, 4 Service/Retention staff, a Warranty Clerk, a Workshop Controller & a Workshop Manager and an enviable team of technicians, apprentices & drivers. We are the “go to” workshop for Toyota transmissions in NSW.
- Reporting to the GM of Operations, analysing data and processes to maximise sales and satisfaction, maintain high efficiency levels, minimise costs and ensure equipment, technology and processes are efficient, safe and future-focussed.
- Ensuring compliance with WH&S, environmental and other regulations and protect the profile of safety in the workshop to maintain zero incidents.
- Being accountable for the performance of the Service team and their activities, customer satisfaction and achieving KPI and manufacturer targets.
- Leading and developing the team to create employee support, succession and satisfaction while ensuring Toyota training attendance is regular and compliant.
- Trouble-shooting Service & Workshop problems with the team to achieve great customer outcomes.

**Your experience will include**
- Previous experience as either a Service Manager or Assistant Service Manager/2IC within the automotive industry, preferably at a Toyota Service centre.
- Excellence in customer service and satisfaction, working in a high-volume Service Centre with a strong understanding of consumer laws and best practice and a proven ability to problem solve under pressure.
- Informed and demonstrated people management capabilities including strong understanding of employment laws and a desire to motivate and develop from within.
- Effective management of manufacturer and vendor relationships
- Demonstrated understanding of workshop processes, risk mitigation and maximising efficiency and a drive for excellence in safety and outputs.
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of TUNE preferred or other automotive DMS, Outlook and MS Office. A desire to utilise technology solutions is also important, both in the workshop and in the office.
