**About Your New Role**:
As a vital member of our Brisbane South team, you'll be assisting our customers with high complex needs in Sunnybank. Our Disability Support Workers are the forefront of delivering exceptional care and innovative strategies to help customers overcome daily challenges and reach their full potential. Each day will be unique, but shifts may include assistance with personal care, household duties, cooking and medication management. Above all, you will provide companionship and build meaningful, caring relationships.

**About You**:

- Excels in complex support environments, including In-Home Supports, Supported Independent Living, Clinical Settings, and Community Access.
- Experience in manual handling and providing personal care including bathing, toileting and dressing
- Maintains effective communication and strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Has extensive experience working with dementia, high complex support needs, implementing Positive Behavioural Support Plans, and handling mental health challenges.
- Can prioritise workloads and respond to emergent situations with ease.
- Is flexible and can work across various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, nights, and overnights.

**About our South Brisbane Team**

Our Sunnybank location is operated by our amazing South Brisbane Region that provide assistance for our customers while promoting independence. Customers have the comfort of care in their own homes and our Supported Independent Living arrangements allow for a great community feel. Our team provide several activities to promote an exciting environment for motivation, mentoring and creativity.

**To be considered for this role, you should have**:

- A current Open Driver's License.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
- 1 year experience in the Disability Sector providing services to individuals with high-complex needs.

Pay: $42.24 per hour
