Data Solution Design Chapter Lead - Permanent

**Your new organisation**:
Hays are currently partnering with one of Australia’s leading general insurers who are seeking a Data Services Chapter Lead to spearhead one of their business streams within data and analytics.

**Your new role**:
A mixture of BAU and project-based responsibility, your role will encompass:

- Data Strategy
- Data Design
- Stakeholder collaboration
- People management

**What you’ll need to succeed**:

- Over 10 years’ experience in data architecture, solution design, management and delivery
- Very strong knowledge in data modelling & data mapping (Columnar, 3NF, Star-schema, Big Tables and JSON based)
- Proven experience in data engineering and architecture within an enterprise data warehouse environment
- Industry-specific data management and governance knowledge
- Strong team and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience driving outcomes within data

**Technology Stack**:

- Azure cloud services (Databricks, ADF)
- MSBI stack (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) as well as Power BI
- Data modelling (ERWIN) with methods such as Data Vault, Kimball, 3 NF)
- Data Science: Python, R, SQL, Pyspark
- Jenkins, Bamboo, GitHub, Jira, Confluence
- Graph Databases and MongoDB
