Payroll Officer role an innovative, progressive industry in Western Sydney

**Your new company**

Your new role will be amongst one of Sydney’s leading innovative service companies that rise above in the current market due to their unique strategies and prospects. This company is located in the Western Sydney region along with onsite parking and work from home flexibility. You will be working in a dynamic office culture with the flexibility of making the role your own as well as developing your skillset alongside the Leadership Team as the company continues to work in synergy, outsourcing their payroll. You will be mentored by the current employee in the role who is transferring within the company. This is a role where you manage the timesheet and master data that is outsourced to the company’s payroll provider. Much development potential available in this opportunity.

**Your new role**

In this role, you will be supporting the Leadership Team with the following duties:

- Support with leave accrual adjustments
- Assist the rostering system
- Export and send to an outsource provider for processing
- Onboarding and off boarding of salaried employees
- Payroll data reconciliation
- Payroll queries and discrepancy spotting
- Other payroll Adjustments
- Final checks
- Reconciliations - end of month and data

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Key understanding of timesheets and rostering experience
- Experience with working with outsourced payroll providers
- Understanding what the timesheet final calculations needs to look like
- Knows the lingo - payroll tax, superannuation etc
- Understand discrepancies
- Ability to be a team player
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of EBAs, award interpretations, leave calculations
