Production Clerk

**The Role**
Ventia in partnership with the Australian Defence Force are seeking a Production Clerk to join our South Australian team. The successful applicant will support the Joint Logistics Unit (JLU) Manager to ensure effective, efficient and best practice planning, scheduling, resourcing and progress monitoring. They will also coordinate with the client for regular progress and performance updates.
The role is being offered as permanent part-time (between 20 - 22 hours per week), Monday to Friday and you will be based at the RAAF Base Edinburgh as part of the Defence Maintenance Support Services (DMSS) contract.
**Responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Undertaking administrative, and non-technical support to tradespersons.
- Assisting with the ordering and hastening of repair parts.
- Contributing to collaborative innovation by identifying continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assisting with the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
- Conducting office administration.
- Prepare written work schedules based on established guidelines and priorities.

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Demonstrated experience in advanced administration function. (required)
- Competent in advanced Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point. (required)
- Experienced in a workshop environment. (Highly regarded)
- Competent in accurate ordering of spare parts and distribution. (Highly regarded)
- Competent in the reading and interpretation of orders. (Highly regarded)
- Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Negative Vetting Level 1._
- As a result of this requirement the applicant must be an Australian Citizen._
