Accounts Officer

Our great team needs an AP/AR star for our forty year old family owned business based in Tennyson Q 4105. We are hiring with the option for an immediate start. We maintain a fun and supportive work environment dedicated to looking after our team.

**The Role**

In this role, your duties will include but are not limited to:

- Debtor Management
- Allocation of customer payments
- Opening & Reviewing customer accounts
- Customer accounts reconciliations
- Processing of customer statements
- Ensure credit limits are adhered to
- Maintain a clean debtors ledger
- Processing of accounts payable invoices
- Reconciling accounts payable invoices to month end statements
- Preparing payments in line with payment cycles

**Key Criteria**
- Knowledge of general accounting procedures and prior experience in AR/AP
- Knowledge and experience using ERP software
- Proficient in data entry and management
- High level attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work unsupervised
- Ability to use initiative and problem solve
- Communication skills both verbal and written - daily engagement accross our entire team
- Information management & excellent Excel skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines and work as part of a team

**Experience**
- Experience in a similar role; ideally in food products warehousing and distribution

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
