General Hand

**The Position**:
We are in need of General hand's for general duties in a fabrication workshop based out of Chermside. This will be an ongoing position with the view to go fulltime after a probation period, plenty of overtime available

**Further details**:
**Day shift**: 6am start 10 hour days

**Rates**: $32/hr + Overtime (up to $1760/week)

**Duration**: Casual to Permanent position

**Location**: Chermside

**Snapshot of duties will include**:

- Assisting Boilermakers
- Welding tasks (if experienced)
- Making timber pallets & crates
- Use of nail guns, wood saws & basic hand tools
- Forklift duties
- Maintaining a clean work environment
- Assisting Boilermakers & welders when needed

**What we're looking for**:

- Previous forklift experience
- TIG Welding experience (highly advantageous)
- knowledge of power tools & hand tools
- available for overtime work
- positive attitude
- ability to work in a team or autonomously
