Lab Tech required for a Bitumen testing role. Based in Fremantle. Long-term career opportunity.

We are partnered with a national organisation based in Fremantle for the recruitment of a new Lab Technician.

This is an initial contract position, with the views to be long-term and possibly permanent in the long run. You'll work full time hours, 38 per week, from Monday to Friday.

This role is focused on bitumen and asphalt, and performing tests and analysis of bitumen, so some experience in this area is beneficial - but not essential. If you come from a Lab Tech background - we want to hear from you

The role involves:

- Conducting tests and analysis of bitumen and asphalt
- Customer service/communication with clients on site.
- Issuing Test Reports as per NATA requirements.

Ideally you will have:

- Previous experience in NATA accredited laboratories, bitumen/asphalt material testing would be advantageous.
- Degree or diploma in Laboratory Techniques
- Willingness to learn on the job
- Proactive attitude with good attention to detail.
- Full working rights in Australia.
