The Best Life For All is a provider of a range of services to clients with disabilities living on the Gold Coast, QLD. This role is the provision of compassionate, non-judgmental cleaning and housekeeping services in our client’s homes.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- The efficient delivery of tailored, specific cleaning/housekeeping needs for each individual client, as directed by supervisor and/or client.
- Tasks may include sweeping, mopping, dusting, wiping and sanitising surfaces, polishing, shampooing, washing dishes and kitchen cleaning, vacuuming, making beds, changing bed linen, washing/drying/folding/hanging/ironing laundry, organising, tidying, bathroom/ shower/toilet scrubbing and cleaning, rubbish disposal, cobweb removal, windows/mirrors/glass door cleaning (interior and exterior), cleaning stovetops and oven interiors.
- Respectful, non-judgemental and compassionate communication and attitude with clients, their family and carers.
- Effective time management and organisational skills in order to complete required cleaning duties and delegated tasks.
- Work effectively autonomously and within a team.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and operating instructions for all equipment including chemicals, vacuums, steam cleaners, carpet cleaners, and step ladders.
- Timely reporting of any accidents, incidents, faults, damage or breakages in equipment, fitting or building fabric, or other hazards observed.

**Essential criteria**:

- Drivers licence and car.
- Police Check.
- Excellent spoken English.
- Professional, neat and tidy presentation.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

**Desirable criteria**:

- Previous professional cleaning, housekeeping or customer service experience.
- Previous lived or professional experience with people with disabilities.
- NDIS Worker Screening

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $32.88 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 - 32 per week
