Caretaker/cleaner

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Caretakers to live onsite or already live in the Granville area. You will be responsible for managing accommodation for clients experiencing homelessness and families. This is a highly rewarding but sometimes challenging job with free accommodation and groceries. You will be paid a set rate, with a weekly bonus based on performance. We are conducting online interviews immediately and look forward to speaking with you

**More about this job**:

- Live onsite in a granny flat in our Granville property. (Accommodation included)
- Check in guests during set timeframes. (Sometimes there are late check ins, no later than 10pm)
- Cleaning of rooms & commons areas (negotiable)
- Weekly Groceries Allowance
- Set days off (Negotiable)
- Workload and working days can be negotiated to suit each applicant.
- After-hours support/response to any incidents (this is limited and is not very frequent).

**About you**:

- A genuine love for helping others and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- You are willing to live onsite at our property in Granville or you live local.
- Have driver’s license or even better have own vehicle (company vehicle can be provided)
- Strong communication skills

To excel in this job, you will need to be compassionate, patient, be able to remain calm and composed in challenging situations. Good communication skills are a must.

- A person with lived experience of domestic violence, homelessness or just been in difficult situations and am wanting to help others in similar situations.
- Working in social services like mental health, homelessness or AOD and looking for a fresh opportunity.
- Or just someone who is looking for a new line of work and willing to give it a go

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Subcontract, Contract

Pay: $600.00 - $1,200.00 per week

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
