**The Role**

**Duties and Responsibilities Include the following but are not limited to**:

- Preparing Credit Applications for Senior Management and/or headquarters covering earnings of dealer, fleet, risks, securities
- Liaise with external legal counsel and C level executives in relation to finance and security structure
- Conducting annual reviews of existing clients
- Proposing actions to be taken to minimise or eliminate the risks posed to VWFS

**In order to be successful**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Finance
- 2 - 5 years' experience in underwriting, corporate lending, business banking, floor plan / bailment finance or related discipline
- The ability to identify and develop alternative solutions to problems
- Excellent attention to detail and customer service skills
- Experience in assessing the financial performance of companies
- Analytical ability, knowledge and good understanding of financial ratios used to assess the viability of business
- Financial industry background an advantage and auto industry knowledge desirable (but not essential)
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
