An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our team.
**Description**:
THE ROLE
As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will ensure accurate processing of store accounts payable for Dymocks company stores. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will complete the processing of accounts payable and reconciliation of creditor statements. You will also be responsible for:
Ensuring all stock invoices and credit claims for company stores are processed accurately in the general ledger system
Completing complex supplier reconciliations monthly, keeping outstanding items to a minimum
Ensuring supplier payments are drawn and paid within payment terms
Ensuring stock processing procedures are adhered to and follow up all discrepancies
Run aged creditors ledger at month end and review all creditors outside terms
**Skills and Experiences**:
**To be successful in this role, you will have**:
Minimum 2 years previous Accounts Payable experience
Experience processing large volumes of stock invoices
Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel skills
Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience essential
Highly organised with excellent ability to reconcile complex supplier reconciliations
High attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a focused team
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
