Instrumental Keyboard/piano Teacher

Music Melodies has over 20 years experience in providing quality music lessons in keyboard, guitar, drums and vocals to primary school-aged students aged from 8 to 12 years. We are located in Melbourne and provide lessons at a number of Government Primary Schools in the South-East metropolitan area.

**We are seeking an instrumental keyboard teacher who is available to work before school hours on a daily basis for 1 hour per day in 2025 in the Sandringham Area.**
- High level of proficiency on keyboard/piano
- Ability to teach primary school aged students
- Confidence and experience in teaching groups
- Flexibility to adjust to changing schedule at short notice
- Proven time management skills
- Own transport
- Enthusiastic and passionate attitude
- Capacity to develop sustained and trusting relationships with staff members and students
- Current Working With Children Check.

This is a role to fill a specific need we have at the moment for one hour per day, Monday to Friday from 8am to 9am (i.e. 5 hours per week). Equipment cannot be stored at the school so you will need to be responsible for up to 5 Casio electronic keyboards and have the ability to transport them to/from school each day. Allowance will be paid for set-up/pack-up time before/after classes.

There may be opportunities to cover for our other teachers while they are away/ill or take on classes at other schools we teach at as the need arises.

We teach our students according to the Bastien Piano Basics series of books (Primer, Level 1, 2, 3, 4).
