Super Gardens is Victoria’s longest standing, privately owned Commercial Landscape Construction, Gardens and Grounds Maintenance and Sports Turf Management business' servicing a diverse range of clients for the last 32 years.
We are experiencing continued growth and have a range of high end commercial projects including hardscapes, playgrounds, open space, street scapes and soft scapes for a range of high profile clients including schools and universities, councils and land and property developers.
As we continue to grow, we have opportunities for a **Qualified Horticulturalist **to join our team in the South East.
To be successful in this hands-on role, you will have:
- A certificate III in Horticulture, Parks & Gardens or Landscape Construction.
- Effectively assisting the Landscape Supervisor in coordinating staff and subcontractors and utilising equipment and materials to meet project deadlines, customer expectations and compliance requirements;
- Working closely with the Landscape Supervisor and Project Manager, to effectively plan programmed works including but not limited to all facets of soft scape and landscape maintenance etc., to ensure the timely completion of projects and according to budget expectations;
- General: Site and safety supervision, Site preparation, monitoring quality and performance;
- Assist with the coordination and the timely receipt and ordering, as required of materials and deliveries to site, to meet programmed works;
- Adherence to budgeted hours and allocated materials;
- Assisting the Landscape Supervisor with coordinating staff and subcontractor site inductions;
- Troubleshooting and resolving a range of technical issues on site including but not limited to: defective materials, installation issues, conflict resolution etc.;
- Communicating with a range of internal and external stakeholders including: Clients, Project Managers, subcontractors and suppliers.
