**ROLE**

The Traffic Manager has a key leadership role in overseeing the flow of work across all departments. As the central hub of operations, the Traffic Manager maintains a comprehensive view of the agency’s workload, coordinating with various departments to prevent bottlenecks, avoid scheduling conflicts, and ensure projects are delivered on time. This role involves managing a team of campaign managers or project managers, guiding them in balancing workloads, setting priorities, and maintaining efficient workflows.

In addition to managing the team, the Traffic Manager stays directly connected to the agency’s work by looking after their own set of clients. This hands-on involvement helps them stay close to the agency’s projects, ensuring they have a direct understanding of client needs and can make informed decisions that align with overall project goals. This approach also allows the Traffic Manager to lead by example, demonstrating best practices in client communication, project management, and problem-solving.

**DUTIES**
- **Team Leadership**
- Lead and mentor a team of campaign or project managers, ensuring balanced workloads and high performance.
- Conduct performance reviews and support team development.
- **Project Coordination**
- Oversee project timelines, coordinate with departments, and ensure tasks are completed on schedule.
- Monitor progress, identify issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- **Client Management**
- Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met and projects align with their goals.
- Maintain regular communication and ensure high client satisfaction.
- **Resource Allocation**
- Allocate resources effectively, optimising staff and tools to meet project demands.
- Adjust plans as needed to match workload demands.
- **Process Improvement**
- Continuously refine processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Implement best practices in project management and workflow coordination.
- **Conflict Resolution**
- Address issues and conflicts within the team or across departments promptly.
- Develop and implement solutions to resolve problems and keep projects moving.
- **Reporting**
- Track and report on project progress, team performance, and resource usage.
- Provide updates and insights.

**SKILLS | EXPERIENCE| QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proven ability to lead and mentor teams, with strong organisational and delegation skills.
- Extensive experience managing multiple projects in a digital or creative agency, ensuring on-time delivery and high quality.
- Strong communication skills with experience managing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and alignment with project goals.
- Proficient in resource allocation and capacity planning, with a track record of optimising workloads and adjusting to changing demands.
- Skilled in quickly identifying issues, resolving conflicts, and implementing effective solutions in high-pressure environments.
- 5-7 years in traffic or project management roles, with direct reports and client-facing responsibilities in a digital or creative agency.
