Bis are now currently recruiting for a Maintenance Representative to join our team, based out of our Tomago Office, but working all over NSW at your allocated Workshops and Mine Sites. Reporting to the NSW Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Representative is responsible for providing all the maintenance system support necessary for the Underground Equipment Hire and Support Business, to meet, and exceed its customers’ requirements.

The Maintenance Representative is an integral part of the Underground Equipment Maintenance Team and can be required, at times, to be involved in specific project work. The Maintenance Representative is also responsible for the timely completion of pre and post hire inspections in the workshops and on mine sites. They will also provide maintenance support to the various mine sites they are allocated and ensure that all breakdown and maintenance related issues are resolved.

**Key responsibilities for this role include**:

- Develop and maintain a close understanding of all equipment operation and utilisation.
- Carry out pre and post hire inspections at workshops and site locations.
- Develop and allocate work scopes from pre and post hire inspections and allocate repair codes.
- Liaise with Maintenance and Operations teams to ensure Bis assets are delivered in full and on time.
- Ensure maintenance standards are maintained and costs incurred by Bis Industries an customers are controlled.
- Ensure all assets delivered to customers comply with OH&S and relevant Australian Standard
- Direct issues relating to warranty, cost disputes, non-performance to the Maintenance Manager
- Develop and maintain rapport with all OEM’s and suppliers.

**The successful applicant will possess**:

- Trade Qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant field with AS3584 and AS3800 experience.
- Well-developed business acumen, critical thinking skills, and excellent understanding of operational and financial impacts.
- Previous experience building and fostering collaborative partnerships and supporting key internal and external stakeholders.
- High level leadership skills - including the ability to coach, mentor, motivate and influence.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and initiative
- Advanced MS Office suite skills
- Excellent organisation skills including the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities
