Pier One Sydney Harbour is Sydney’s leading lifestyle hotel, designed for experience seekers, built over the water on Sydney Harbour. Fueled by our love of the hyperlocal, Pier One is home to 189 designer rooms and suites, Sydney’s leading event venues and vibrant pier with waterside bar and dining offerings.

**Your Opportunity**
- Responsible for managing all operation & logistics for event & meeting spaces, ensuring the team is providing service excellence to tailor to the unique needs of our guests and deliver mind-blowing service
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests to create memorable moments and enable future bookings
- Manage the department’s banquet enquiries in an efficient and effective manner whilst showcasing your curious, outgoing and warm personality
- Responsible for department budgeting, productivity and labour management to ensure the department is working efficiently.
- Identifying and understanding issues and opportunities from different sources to draw conclusions, develop solutions and solve problems.
- Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures whilst demonstrating the Pier One core values
- Maintaining performance level under pressure or when experiences changes or challenges in the workplace
- Lead the banquets department with all operational tasks, strategies and team building initiatives so associates feel connected and immersed within the Pier One culture
- Be the main point of contact for all external & internal clients for the Banquets department

- Passion for the industry
- Relevant leadership experience in a similar managerial role - Banquets experience ideal
