Salesperson- Trades and Hardware

**About the opportunity**
Your responsibilities will include:

- Trade counter sales and sales order processing
- Handling over-the-counter or telephone retail trade sales
- Providing customer quotes and product support
- Offering exceptional service to our customers
- Product quoting and special orders for Trade Customers
- Contributing to maintaining the store's profile and presentation
- Managing EFTPOS, cash, and account sales transactions

**About you**
- Previous trade counter sales experience or similar (desirable)
- Knowledge of steel, hardware products, exposure to construction industry (desirable)
- Experience with MS Office suite
- EFTPOS/cash sales experience
- Strong sales focus with excellent phone manner and computer skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Driver’s license
- Forklift ticket (desirable, but training can be provided)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.33 - $44.24 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rockingham, WA 6168: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Working towards sales targets and KPIs: 1 year (preferred)
- Sales: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
