Drilling Quality Advisor

**An exciting opportunity has become available to work with a global operator in Perth CBD as a Quality Advisor with drilling experience on a 12 month contract.**

Quality Management System Lead Auditor qualification

Investigation methodology qualification (RCA/Taproot)

Industry related courses

**Critical Skills, Capabilities and Experience requirements**

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas industry preferably in a quality role, managing all aspect of quality assurance and quality control in a Drilling department.

Strong understanding of quality standards, principles, product quality specifications and quality control programs in the Oil & Gas industry.

Strong working knowledge of API Spec Q2 Specification for Quality Management System Requirements for Service Supply Organizations for the Petroleum and Natural Gas Industries.

**Key Experiences Requirements**

Demonstrates experience in management of quality assurance programs and quality control processes and procedures in a Drilling department.

Demonstrates experience in developing contract quality requirements for Drilling and Completion product and service contracts, based on equipment criticality - requires strong understanding of industry product standards

Demonstrates experience implementing quality plans and coordination of inspection activities.

**Assignment Deliverables**

Implement and manage quality assurance and quality control activities, in accordance with the Drilling Quality Management Plan.

Establish contract quality requirements and implementing risk-based quality management programs.

Local vendor Quality audits and vendor contract management - includes quarterly SQM’s, compiling service quality feedback.

Management of local Quality control process (Preventative Maintenance, Inspection & Test Program) - includes Quality control Inspector assignment, inspection planning, punch lists and non-conformance management.

Capturing and investigating Non-Productive Time events and service quality issues - perform RCA and capture corrective actions for the purpose of continuous improvement in operations.
