The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Dental Specialist (Orthodontist) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
Provide comprehensive specialist orthodontic oral health care of the highest standard to eligible patients throughout Gold Coast Oral Health Service facilities
Diagnose and develop treatment plans for complex malocclusions and the co-ordination of multi-disciplinary case management to ensure that treatment is of the highest standard
Coordinate and participate in the orthodontic diagnostic and treatment for eligible clients throughout Gold Coast Oral Health Service facilities
Provide specialist orthodontic opinions and advice on cases referred
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
Bachelor of Dental Science Degree
AHPRA Registration
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Driver Licence
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
Permanent part time (hrs negotiable, up to 19 hours per fortnight)
Base salary ranging from $95.91 - $112.32 per hour
