Are you passionate about identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities in complex IT environments? Do you have a strong understanding of security frameworks and methodologies? We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Vulnerability Management Analyst to join our team and play a critical role in safeguarding our organization's systems and data through effective vulnerability assessment and remediation.
- This role can be based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane
- What you’ll do- Own the vulnerability scanning and management tooling in FNZ.-
- Scope, identify and assess potential vulnerability findings across the organisations network and systems-
- Work with stakeholders to prioritise and remediate vulnerabilities based on risk-
- Generate reports on vulnerability status and remediation efforts.-
- Provide recommendations for vulnerability management processes and procedures.-
- Review the latest information from threat intelligence sources to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities, carrying out assessment of the risks to FNZ.-
- Proven experience with vulnerability scanning and management, systems (i.e. Qualys, Nessus, OpenVAS, Kenna, Rapid7 etc.)-
- Understanding of tools, techniques and procedures that modern attackers use to compromise organisations.-
- Understanding of some security frameworks and methodologies such as OWASP 10, SANS TOP 25, MITRE ATT&CK.-
- An appreciation for the strengths and weaknesses of vulnerability scoring systems such CVSS and EPSS.-
- Demonstrated affinity with IT security tools, technologies and techniques.-
- Ability to handle large data sets, e.g. in Excel, Python- If your experience _
