Supply Chain Coordinator

ArmorGalv is the only Thermal Diffusion Galvanizing plant in Australia and has experienced double digit growth since its inception 12 years ago.
We are seeking a driven and self-motivated Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team. This role will be offered as a full-time permanent position, based in Thornton NSW.

Scope:
The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible to ensure Work, Health, & Safety of all the staff, as well as handling all the consumables and goods and receiving and dispatch movements within ArmorGalv (Aust) Pty Ltd. The role is also responsible for receiving & entering delivery dockets, customer purchase order entries, and keeping the Operations Manager informed of the customer requirements to meet customer expectations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate safety leadership and commitment to achieving zero injuries.
- Ensure compliance with the Safety Management System including:

- Visible leadership of the specific site safety rules, reporting all incident/accidents.
- Advise General Manager of any non-compliance to company policies, procedures and practices.
- Work closely with the production team to ensure customer expectations are met in terms of DIFOT and product quality
- Ensure that all Materials movements and Inventory levels are managed efficiently and accurately.
- Proactive liaison with customers regarding receipt and dispatch of Orders in advance so they don’t have to ask for updates.
- Liaise with clients on product turn-around times, production schedule, completion expectations and deliver and pick up times.
- Update shared customer systems to ensure customers have up to date information on delivery timetable.
- Alert all potential customer order fulfillment issues to the Operations Manager.
- Communicate specific customer requests to the Operations Manager.
- Receive and enter all Client Purchase Orders, manage incoming products, as well as check and store Client product safely.
- Upload a copy of signed delivery docket, Job Sheet, QA Job Sheet, IPC, and any other docs as required to the Job List in Smartsheet
- Update hours worked, number of bakes, and zinc usage on a daily basis.
- Ensure Production & Quality Planning Manager is advised of all customer thickness requirements and other Quality Assurance requirements including packaging requirements. Collection of Production related data to assist Sales team in preparing quotations
- Assist as back up to Quality Control of jobs in the absence of the Quality Controller
- Monitor and report monthly progress in Sales and report to Management team
- Ensure product tracking is in place, up to date, regularly monitored and all due dates correct
- Ensure all environmental requirements as determined by Government Legislation, Regulation and Company Environmental Management Plans are met.

Role reports to: Operations Manager

Strategic Partnerships: Works closely with Customers, Production Team, and Sales Team to ensure Customer expectations are met.

Role Structure: The Supply Chain Coordinator is expected to have a focus on meeting and managing customer expectations, ensure compliance with Integrated Management System (Quality& WHS), manage material, receiving & dispatching consumables and goods.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

- A great work ethic and motivated, combined with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Effective communication, high attention to detail and a forward-thinking mind-set.
- Knowledge of safe work practices and commitment to ensuring a safe workplace.
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role will be essential.
- A Forklift License essential.

**Salary**: $49,985.44 - $142,866.17 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Supply chain management: 2 years (preferred)
