Create an impact as a** **Governance Enablement **Manager.**
**Your Role**
The Manager, Governance Enablement role is within the Technology and Operations (T&O) division that creates value through the deployment of resilient and innovative technology and data solutions, and delivery of shared enterprise services at scale. Within T&O, the role is part of the Partnering, Quality & Integration (PIQ) business unit, which strives to uplift quality across the IAG group.
The purpose of the role is to enable successful delivery of business strategies and plans through enabling stakeholders to seamlessly navigate through essential governance processes within T&O and across business divisions, particularly the Information Technology Ownership Framework (ITOF), the Data Governance Framework (DGF), Artificial Intelligence guidelines and Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).
Collaborating with the Manager of Policy and Standards, you will develop, maintain, and refine governance processes and tools to ensure compliance with frameworks and guidelines, prioritizing ease of use, non-duplication, and maximum automation through modern technology and AI. You will build enterprise-wide awareness and understanding of frameworks, policies, and standards. You will also create and deliver training materials for key stakeholders navigating T&O-owned frameworks, policies, and standards across IAG.
In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute directly to the effectiveness of the risk management practices within T&O and across the enterprise, and the achievement of the “Manage our risks” pillar of IAG’s corporate strategy.
This position is a **permanent**, full-time opportunity and can based in a metropolitan location on the east coast of **Australia**.
**About You**
- Extensive experience in technology and business engagement, ideally within the financial services industry, including several years in leadership roles.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant technology, data, information security, and operational risk regulations.
- Strong understanding of technology, information security, and data risk, with hands-on experience in technology-enabled governance transformation being highly desirable.
- Experience in process design and enablement.
- Strong outcome orientation.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and simplify complex topics for an executive audience.
- Exceptional written communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field, such as data, technology, or risk.
- Familiarity with or experience operating within a three lines of accountability (defence) risk model.
