Join team CSIRO as our Coordinator - Service Delivery. Working within CSIRO Business and Infrastructure Services (CBIS) Business Unit (BU) you will be responsible for providing high level administrative support to the Fleet Office in developing and coordinating standardised administrative processes for the effective delivery of Fleet Services across the organisation. This includes coordinating the annual asset replacement process, ensuring consistency of services delivered across all Business Units, and overseeing the duties performed by the CBIS Officers, Regional Fleet Support. The National Fleet Office supports the administration of CSIRO’s large, diverse, and decentralised fleet comprising around 800 vehicles, via a national fleet network across 59 locations.
**Your duties will include**:
- Provide high level operational and administrative support to the CBIS National Fleet Manager across a range of activities relating to the development and implementation of fleet management processes and procedures across CSIRO.
- Manage and monitor the annual fleet asset replacement program for CSIRO ensuring replacements are fit-for-purpose and actioned within a timely manner.
- Assist in the operational management and maintenance of the CSIRO Fleet ensuring the fleet life cycle cost is optimised.
- Assist in the development of key projects as required including maintaining existing and new procedures and processes for managing the CSIRO Fleet, providing advice, and preparing information to support decisions and actions.
- Oversee the day-to-day operational duties for the Regional Fleet Support Officers ensuring processes are in place and standardised across all business units and for the Site Fleet Contact network
- Provide input for the review of the Fleet Management intranet site, SharePoint sites and other systems used to support administration of the Fleet.
- Manage the fleet asset plant risk assessment process to ensure assets are compliant when it comes to safety, regulatory and/or legislative requirements.
- Focus on continuous improvement of processes and procedures and provide advice on desirable change initiatives.

**Salary**:AU$89,680 - AU$101,459 plus up to 15.4% superannuation

**To be considered you will need**:
- Understanding and experience in management of procurement, contract negotiation and contract management. As a key member of the Fleet Management Team play a proactive role in building effective relationships with internal / external clients (including vendors and lessors) and key stakeholders.
- Foster a productive internal and external network by ensuring a strong customer focus on client delivery and, within the team, a cooperative and collaborative working environment.
- Understanding and experience in asset management including utilisation, financial reporting, and data analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage administration functions in a complex environment, including the ability to prioritise workloads; problem solve by identifying solutions and considering implications; and the ability to recognise and make changes to improve performance.
- Proven ability to demonstrate initiative, actively contribute as a team member and share relevant and useful information.
- An ability to recognise and seek to resolve problems as they arise and escalate issues as required.
- Demonstrated strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise demands, accepting personal responsibility for doing the job well.
- Hold a current driver’s licence as local and interstate travel may be required.
Desirable:
- General training and or qualification in business management, procurement and/or contract management;
- Experience in project management;
- Knowledge of fleet management and associated services.
