**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Working across the 4-theatre department, you will work with a dedicated and professional team that sees a broad range of specialities. This includes Orthopaedics, General Surgical, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Paediatrics, ENT, Plastics, Pain and Dental;
- As a member of the Anaesthetics team, you will be joining the passionate theatre staff providing care to patients undergoing Anaesthesia for their procedures;
- Preparing the perioperative environment for the appropriate procedure while liaising with and closely supporting the anaesthetist in the provision of all aspects of the anaesthetic care, as required by the anaesthetist and perioperative team;
**REQUIREMENTS**
- At least 2 years of recent experience working as an Anaesthetic Technician;
- An understanding of issues associated with acute care / perioperative settings;
- You will be an effective communicator and foster a positive and cohesive culture;
- You will be self-motivated and work as an influential team member with mínimal supervision;
- Your excellent understanding of infection control principles will see you contribute to the safety of the patients, staff, and visitors;
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

**REMUNERATION**

$73,094.00 - $80,800.00 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.

**ABOUT THE FACILITY**

The hospital, located in Perth, has 107-beds, including a palliative care unit, a medical/rehabilitation ward, a surgical ward, a Day Surgery and Endoscopy unit, an Early Parenting Centre, and maternity services incorporating an obstetrics ward, a delivery suite, and Level 2 special care nursery. Moreover, the hospital has 4 operating suites and 2 procedure rooms for Endoscopy
