**About the Role**
Our client is looking for an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their financial team in a Financial Analyst role. The role and the business is suited to someone who is hard-working, has a positive attitude, is well-spoken and is a quick learner. **The Responsibilities**

Reporting to the Finance Manager your duties will include but not limited to:

- Daily reconciliation - debtors, creditors & stock, and bank reconciliations
- Daily cashflow
- Process journals & GL uploads (lease, credit card, wages, accruals, trade spend, supplier recoveries, cheese quota, FX, gift cards, inventory rounding)
- Month-end closing process
- Preparation, allocation of costs to correct G/L accounts, and payment of weekly bills
- Manage relationships and handle queries with internal and external stakeholders
- P&L Reporting and Analyses
- 1-3 years experience an Assistant Accountant or Site Accountant role
- Inventory experience
- Strong excel skills (comfortable with v-look ups and pivot tables)
- Excellent communication skills
- Be immediately available or available on short notice
