**Your new company**
This highly capable and practical construction business, operating interstate for over 30 years and recently establishing an office in Canberra, they are recognised in the industry as a reliable and honest firm. Their ethos is “honesty, integrity and quality”. Specialising in commercial refurbishment, fit out and new build across hospitality, health, aged care, plus a variety of residential developments. With their presence in Canberra and surrounding regions growing, they are seeking a Site Supervisor to join their close-knit team.
**Your new role**
Your role as Site Supervisor will be the leader and manager of the site. You will collaborate with all site staff, and subcontractors to manage the day to day works of the project. You are also responsible for the administration and implementation of the Quality and Safety Management plan. Working alongside a Project Manager, you will also conduct minor procurement of materials. From time to time you will also assist with hands on tasks such as carpentry or concreting works.
- Coordinating day-to-day activities on site in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Create, monitor and control the programme to ensure daily activities align with project plans
- Supervising and leading subcontractor trades
- Manage all WHS and quality assurance on site
- Induction of all trades and running of toolbox talks
- Procurement of materials and coordination of site logistics such as deliveries
- Efficient and effective communication with all internal and external stakeholders

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled tradesperson to transition off the tools into a management role, work alongside a knowledgeable Project Manager and Construction Manager, and grow your career. You will work in a small ACT team of a well-established business from regional NSW, allowing you the opportunity to be involved and a part of the growth of the ACT team. You will have close support from the Construction Manager and Project Manager, who both have a practical approach and trade background.
