**About the Opportunity**
Due to consistent growth across our business, Nordon Cylinders is now seeking an experienced Saw Operator / Trades Assistant to join our high performing team in Brendale QLD 4500.

We are on the lookout for a Saw Operator / Trades Assistant to support in preparation and cutting of tube and shaft material prior to manufacturing. This role can provide training and development in these areas.

You will monitor quality by, taking measurements, detecting faults and imperfections of materials, troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming control while adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes as well as general trades assistant duties. This role would be suited to a self-starter who is looking to work in a supportive team environment.

**About You**
To be considered for this role, you will possess;
- Ability to perform cutting duties
- Experience in similar role
- Exposure to a manufacturing environment
- Forklift ticket is essential
- Capability to perform quality checks on outgoing products before they move on to the next stage
- Possess excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks
- Have good written and verbal communication skills and a “can do” attitude
- Wanting to develop a long standing career with Nordon Cylinders.
