**Who we are**
Capability and Coaching section leads initiatives aimed at shaping the division’s regulatory culture and building regulatory and leadership capability. The Capability and Evaluation team develops tools and resources that support capability and career building, a strong learning culture and a psychologically safe workplace. We investigate and trial innovative methods and tools to support capability and coaching across the division.

**The Job**
The duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

- providing expert advice on digital content solutions, including learning experiences, across Biosecurity Operations Division
- designing and developing digital resources and learning experiences, to support capability building within the division
- building and maintaining a digital portfolio/catalogue of products and services
- piloting, reviewing and implementing current and new technology into business-as-usual processes
- managing and refining end to end design and development processes and writing applicable technical guidelines and instructional material
- continued development of technical skills and sharing of knowledge to build capability within the team and contribute to a strong culture of learning
- researching and contributing to business improvement and innovation strategies, exploring innovative methods for producing and delivering digital content
- contributing to the development and implementation of communication strategies for promoting and progressing innovation and digital work
- participating in regional and national networks and building and maintaining productive working relationships with stakeholders
- contributing to strategic planning for longer-term capability building and innovation initiatives
- promoting and ensuring compliance with departmental work health and safety and rehabilitation policies and guidelines and be alert for and report risks to WHS
- promoting and ensuring adherence to APS Values, Employment Principles and Code of Conduct.

**What we are looking for**
**Knowledge and experience**
We are looking for someone who has:

- experience in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud suite to develop and edit digital content
- experience in storyboarding and/or script writing/editing
- knowledge of and experience in the use of learning management systems
- knowledge of and experience in project management, including planning, organising, coordinating, executing, tracking and evaluating projects
- an understanding of, or a demonstrated ability to quickly acquire understanding of, the biosecurity operations environment
- knowledge of, or a demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, the department's purpose and objectives and how the team's work relates to these
- knowledge of, or a demonstrated ability to quickly acquire knowledge of, relevant legislative, financial and administrative frameworks, government decision making processes and departmental guidelines and regulations.

Experience in the following is desirable but not required:

- Developing eLearning.
- Using animation software.
- Developing Virtual Reality(VR)/Augmented Reality(AR) content for training.
