**The client**
Our client is a government organisation based in the south-eastern suburbs currently undertaking a significant technology transformation.

**The role**
They have an exciting opportunity available for a Database Analyst to provide database management, planning, implementation, training and testing of new corporate software and maintain enhancements and upgrades to existing software.
- Initial 3 month role with further extensions
- South-eastern suburbs location, hybrid model
- Hourly rate of $62.75 plus super on offer

Duties may include:

- Manage database technology and associated schemas to allow secure, efficient and effective access to structured data
- Manage all aspects of database administration, optimisation, health and monitoring
- Design, develop and implement SSIS, SSRS and PowerBi solutions to support business unit objectives
- Develop and maintain Powershell scripts
- Perform data cleansing of the logical design so that it can be translated into a specific data model
- Produce database documentation, including data standards, procedures and definitions for the data dictionary (metadata)
- Monitor the storage and archiving procedures for accurate functionality and procedural compliance

**About you**
- Previous experience in a similar database analysis and support role
- Strong technical skills with SQL Databases, Querying, Stored, Backup and Restore procedures, and PowerShell scripting
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to work with business users, stakeholders, and to liaise with 3rd party vendors
