Despatch Coordinator

**Duties include**:
- Scheduling of outbound customer and inter-site orders
- Ensure customer delivery requirements and service agreements are adhered to
- Maintain timely and professional proactive communication with customer contacts on issues impacting service and overall performance.
- Responsible for administration associated with the outbound despatch of goods
- Run customer orders and warehouse pick lists using JD Edwards ERP system for the warehouse to pick and stage for despatch
- Collect, coordinate and review all paperwork from the operators once picked, to ensure records are correct, accurate and matches the physical despatch of product
- Ensure all stock discrepancies are reported and corrected in a timely manner
- Responsible for the creation and coordination of driver’s manifests and generation of delivery runs.
- Lead coordination of vehicles on site and ensure loading in order of priority
- Daily, weekly and monthly reports are completed as required and all customer orders are accounted for and processed for invoicing on the day they are despatched
- Responsible for preparation and coordination of reports relating to inventory and logistics, including DIFOT, stock discrepancies, and damage reports.
- Responsible for warehouse and logistics related administration, including invoice reconciliation and coding
- Lead and contribute positively to team environment and participate in activities to build continuous improvement of the function.
**Skills required**:
- JD Edwards/Oracle One World (ERP Systems)
- Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, & Word
- Broad knowledge of inventory control processes and KPI’s
- Previous experience in a dispatch role or logistics environment, and customer service
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
