**Your new role**:

- Join a dynamic team at Olympic Damn, reporting directly to our Operations Manager SA/NT, working on a FIFO 2:2 roster. In this hands-on, salaried role, you'll operate heavy-duty shears and other equipment to process scrap metal, playing a key part in our safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate fixed and mobile shears to cut and process scrap metal
- Load and unload trucks, skip bins, and trailers
- Grade and sort metals according to type and quality
- Provide great customer service on-site when required
- Adhere to all OH&S policies and procedures, maintaining a strong safety mindset

**What You’ll Bring**:

- Experience operating shears in a scrap or industrial environment (preferred)
- Forklift (LF) licence is ideal
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
- High attention to detail, reliability, and a safety-first attitude
- Openness to upskilling and learning new equipment
