We are looking for an organised and capable of multitasked Sports Administrator to manage all administrative tasks relating to our regular horse racing and recreational activities.

**Position title**:Sports Administrator

**Reporting to**:Chairman and Chief Operations Officer

**Locations**:115 Grenada Road, Mangalore, Vic 3663 and 905 Koo Wee Rup-Longwarry Road, Bayles, Vic 3981

**Nature of employment**:Full time (38 hours per week)

**Total remuneration**:$91,000 per annum plus Superannuation

**Duties and responsibilities for the position**
- Planning and making budgets for company’s horse racing and recreational activities.
- Making plans for company’s owned horses to participate in horse racing or competitions in Victoria, interstate and overseas.
- Arranging and preparing horses owned by the company for racing activities.
- Developing and implementing company policies for retiring horses.
- Compiling reports of racing results of company owned horses for Chairman, including translation, and COO on regular basis.
- Liaising with horse trainers and jockeys for racing activities and arrangements.
- Managing and controlling costs for the company owned horses participating in horse racing activities in Victoria and interstate.
- Directing, training and arranging staff for pre-race checks.
- Directing, training and arranging staff for appropriate care for each individual horse before and/or after each race.
- Coordinating and collaborating to promote horse racing and recreational activities to general public and local community, including community sponsorship, race sponsorship and client relations.

**Qualification required for the position**
- Bachelor or higher degree in Sports Administration.

**Employment experience and skills required for the position**
- Minimum two years of experience in the horse racing industry.
- Minimum six months of experience working with a horse trainer.
- Good knowledge of horse racing industry in Australia, Ireland and Asian countries/regions.
- Excellent English language ability in reading, speaking, listening and writing.
- Fluent in Mandarin and in particular, fluent in Shanxi dialect.
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
