**Metal Fabricator - Boilermaker / Welder**

Australian Portable Camps is a leading Australian provider of innovative building solutions aimed to meet specific needs for mining, construction and oil & gas projects.

We are looking for a highly experienced full-time Boilermaker / Welder with at least 2 years' experience. If successful, you will become a highly valued member of our team based in **Monarto, SA 5254.**

**Pre-requisites and daily tasks**
- Marks off and fabricates structural steel and other metal stock to make or repair metal products and structures.
- Joining metal sections using various welding techniques, bolting and riveting - must know how to ARC, MIG.
- Able to do thin gauge welding.
- Shaping and bending sheet metal and structure.
- Studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements.
- Selecting, cleaning, and preparing metal stock
- Cutting marked-out metal sections and shapes using hand tools, flame cutting torches and metal-cutting machines
- Trade qualified boilermaker/Welder.
- Be familiar with working from drawings.
- Be reliable, punctual and have excellent communication skills.
- White Card - mandatory
- High Risk Forklift licence

**Preferred but not essential.**
- High Risk WP
- Scissor lift
- Working at heights

Wages are paid weekly. The base annual salary is in the order of $78,000.00 - $88,000.00, depending on experience.
