About the role:
As part of the Asset Programs Future Planning and Development team, the Knowledge and Data Controller will be responsible for development, optimisation and ongoing management of the knowledge management systems and processes for our Integrated Energy (power generation and gas assets) division. You will play a key role in ensuring that the division has access to robust information to inform strategic asset management decision making through effective management of data.

You will be the product owner for the OpenText Technology (OTT) platform, which is utilised to manage and control documents and records. You will also be responsible for deploying the Operations Principles Assurance Library (OPAL) which contains policies, standards and documents.

Specific responsibilities include:

- Develop and manage the centralised systems and procedures that support the Technical Management of Change process
- Facilitate and collaborate with stakeholders to develop an ongoing management strategy for the document management system
- Chair and facilitate the Document Controllers’ forums to progress enhancements to the systems
- Develop and report KPI’s on performance and compliance of knowledge management systems
- Investigate new tools and systems, develop business cases and manage improvement projects

About You:
You will have experience in knowledge management / document control within a heavy industrial organisation with an alignment to ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems. Your communication, interpersonal and influencing skills will ensure that stakeholders engaged on matters relating to knowledge management and your advanced attention to detail will ensure that information is accurate and available when required.

What you bring to the table:

- A passion for process improvement
- Exposure to Engineering, Maintenance or IT terminology and documentation
- An understanding of ISO 9001 principles
- Experience reviewing / auditing document control systems
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and SharePoint
