Our client, a leading provider of pumping solutions to the mining sector, is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to join their team in Perth. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and identifying new business opportunities in the continuously growing mining sector.

In this role, you will primarily focus on
**Progressive Cavity Pumps** and spend 50% of your time on the road, travelling to remote locations in the West Australian Goldfields and Pilbara. You'll spend two weeks on the road, followed by two weeks in the office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth in the mining sector.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with end-users, resellers, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive customer loyalty and repeat business.
- Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of future business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to develop customized solutions for customers.
- Deliver sales presentations to customers and stakeholders at both the end-user level and boardroom level.
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in a technical sales role, preferably selling pumping systems and packages.
- Deep understanding of mining pumps, with experience in de-watering pumps desirable.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and developing long-term relationships with customers.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Willingness to travel as required.
