Job Title: Storeperson Division: Weir Minerals Onsite Location: Coolum Beach, Queensland, Australia- Work with an experienced and supportive team- Global leading orginisation within the manufacturing space.- Permanent Role and above market employee super contributions. Purpose of Role: Work within a range of warehouse functions with a strong emphasis on safety, accuracy and urgency, to support department objectives and fulfill customer service requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure Weir and site health, safety and environment systems and processes are applied and actively participate in HSE programs.- Ensure tools, plant and equipment is safe, clean and fit for purpose prior to using in the execution of tasks.- Ensure work and storage areas are kept safe, clean and ordered.- Unload incoming freight and load outgoing freight.- Receive incoming goods and move goods to appropriate locations.- Pick, pack and dispatch outgoing goods and equipment.- Organise transportation for incoming and outgoing goods as the shipping terms require.- Maintain inventory accuracy.- Work with the Production Controllers to ensure that goods are picked and placed for production operations.- Participate in cycle counting and stock take and the associated resulting administration from these tasks.- Use lifting devices such as forklifts and overhead cranes to move loads.- Complete quality and inspection processes, which may include paper or electronic documentation.- Maintain site equipment.- Be an active member of the operations team - provide input into product, quality, work process and work environment improvements and programs.- Other duties as directed by a Supervisor or Manager. Measurements: - Support the department objective of =>98.5% pick, pack and distribution accuracy.- Support the department objective of =>98.5% On Time Delivery.- Cross checking procedures are followed to prevent errors.- Adherence to all Safety rules, policies and operating guidelines.- Adherence to all Standard Operational Procedures. Education and/or Experience: - 2-5 years' experience in a warehouse environment.- Exposure to RF scanning.- Forklift experience.- Experience working in a busy distribution warehouse environment.- Must have a strong commitment to safety and experience working with safe operating rules, policies, guidelines and or procedures. Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with peers and supervisors and relay information accurately and clearly. Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately.
