**Step into a rewarding Trade that Protects Lives**

As a **1st Year Fire Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice**, you’ll learn how to install, service, and maintain fire sprinkler and safety systems, working alongside experienced tradespeople on exciting residential, commercial, and construction projects.

You’ll work toward a nationally recognised qualification **Certificate III in Fire Protection** while gaining on-the-job experience in an industry that’s always in demand.

**Some of Your Duties Will Include**:

- Preparing materials, tools, and work areas for tradespeople.
- Cleaning up and maintaining safe, tidy job sites.
- Assisting with the installation, alteration, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in buildings and other structures.
- Fitting domestic and residential sprinkler systems.
- Helping test and maintain fire hydrant and hose reel systems.
- Learning to use grinders, thread machines, and other hand tools.
- Supporting the design and assembly of pre-calculated fire sprinkler systems.
- Installing and maintaining water supply and piping for fire protection systems.
- Activating alarms and assisting with installation of special hazard systems.
- Inspecting and testing control and indicator equipment under supervision.
- Following Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements and site procedures.
- Working across a variety of projects, including building upgrades, commercial and residential sites, and new constructions.

**What You’ll Need to Get Started**:

- A genuine interest in learning the fire protection trade
- The ability to perform physical demanding and repetitive tasks
- White Card
- Driver’s licence (preferred)
- Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work in a team
