**About the Role**:
As an ICT Desktop Services Officer, you will maintain a service desk on behalf of our client. In line with VSG’s values of being Expert, Trusted and Reputable, you will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service whilst providing support and solutions on behalf of our clients and customers.

We welcome all Veterans and Professionals with varying levels of experience.

Your day to day tasks will include:

- Review system software updates, identify those that merit action, test and install these updates.
- Document and carry out agreed operational procedures, including hardware and software configuration, installation, maintenance and decommissioning.
- Assist with the day-to-day operations, including investigation and remedy of faults in relation to systems within the environment.
- Ensure release processes and procedures are maintained.

**About You**:
We are looking for TS PV cleared Veterans and Professionals who are looking to provide support in the deployment, management, patching and decommissioning of hardware and software that make up a Linux Desktop Fleet.

Ideally, you will possess

Essential:

- An active TS PV Security Clearance
- Experience with Ansible or Puppet, and Linux System Administration
- Previous desktop support/ service desk experience

Desirable:

- Experience in documentation of technical processes
- Great written and oral communication skills
