Individualised Community Access Services (ICAS) are looking for experienced FEMALE Support Workers to provide support excellence to a number of clients located in Dakabin, Carseldine.

**Appliants should have experience in providing personal care and manual handling, including wheelchairs and manual handling training. Aged Care experience may be suitable for one of the clients.

ICAS has provided disability support services within the greater Brisbane region for over 25 years, and we take pride in our long-term quality relationships with both clients and staff.

ICAS believes the key to successful provision of supports is all about matching the right team with each individual client We actively seek to understand the clients expressed needs and stated NDIS goals and look for support workers that are passionate and committed to client centered practice, building individual capacity, promoting positive goal progression, and celebrating client achievements.

Our team deliver a range of supports including assisting clients to with domestic support, attending outings in the community and participating in recreational and social activities including transport, personal care, and companionship.

- An excellent work ready attitude able to be verified by 2 professional references.
- A personal commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
- NDIS Workers Screening & Blue Card (or willing to obtain).
- CPR and First Aid (or willing to obtain).
- National Police Check
- Open Driver’s License, own vehicle, and comprehensive insurance.
- Be and sensitive to client requests and be able to work in quiet shifts.
- Be kind, caring and compassionate in nature, including quietly spoken (client request)
- Be able to engage with the teenage children and family dog.
- Have experience with wheelchairs, manual handling and personal care.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
