**About the Role**:
We are looking for an experienced practitioner to join our Reconnect and Getting Together youth programs. Reconnect is a program that focuses on strengthening relationships between young people and their families. Getting it Together provides strengths based practical solutions for children, young people and their families. This position requires a practitioner who is passionate about delivering positive outcomes for young people, by developing meaningful relationships with them, their families and the wider community. This role requires flexibility to provide service delivery to both the Tweed and Ballina regions, dependent on the current community needs.

**While this position has a contract date till the 31st December 2025, we anticipate this will be extended.**
- Have experience delivering one on one sessions with young people and their families.
- Have experience facilitating family mediation.
- Have experience in developing person centered case plans and supporting young people in achieving these goals.
- Have an understanding of the barriers young people face.
- Are prepared to travel across the Tweed to Ballina areas to provide service delivery.
- Understand the importance of building strong relationships with key stakeholders, communities and other services providers, to promote best outcomes for young people.
- Are highly organised individuals who are flexible and able to manage a high case load, while ensuring KPI's are met.
- Can work with integrity when delivering support and interventions in alignment with the programs objectives.

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in health, psychology, social work, social science or social welfare, health promotion or similar
- Demonstrated experience in the social and human services sector
- Experience and knowledge of working with young people presenting with mental health and/or other complexities including trauma, homelessness and substance use
- Demonstrated knowledge of trends and models of service delivery for community, family, housing, employment and/or youth programs
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
