About the role
Working as a member of the Development team, you’ll be responsible for leading the ongoing implementation of AWC’s bequests strategy. Personally responsible for the engagement and relationship management of a portfolio of confirmed bequest supporters and potential bequest prospects. You’re focus will be on growing the current portfolio of bequest donors and identify potential new prospects. With experience managing and growing a Gifts in Wills program using multi-channel marketing, relationship fundraising and targeted data analytics. With previous demonstrated experience you will co-ordinate and track your engagement/results with donors and bequest supporters and assist in the planning, co-ordination and delivery of major city-based events aimed at expanding AWC’s networks. From time to time you will be required to attend and help co-ordinate the logistics and delivery of sanctuary-based events.

The position is offered on a permanent full-time basis and can be based from AWC’s Perth, Sydney or Melbourne office.
AWC’s mission - to deliver effective conservation for all native animal species and their habitats - is achieved by close collaboration between our Operations, Science and Fundraising teams and this role plays a key part in promoting this approach to all team members.
