Merge is seeking an All Rounder Trade Assistant who demonstrates transferrable mechanical aptitudes in a similar environment. You will be a jack of all trades responsible for servicing trucks, maintenance, welding, etc. This is a casual position to start, with potential to go permanent.

**About the role**:

- Maintaining fleet of vehicles (servicing, repairs, etc.)
- Provide support to other trades for general maintenance activities where required.
- Conduct general welding duties.
- Keeping work area clean and tidy.

**The successful applicant has the following skills and experience**:

- Previous experience working as a Trade Assistant.
- MIG and TIG welding experience (desirable).
- Manual C licence (preferred).
- Construction Industry Card (White Card).
- Have a hard-working nature and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
- Attention to detail and quality of workmanship.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Need a valid driver’s licence and a reliable vehicle.

**Salary**: $45.00 per hour
