**An opportunity for a Leading Hand to join our team at our Truganina Warehouse.**

**About The Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to join us at our Truganina Warehouse as a Leading Hand, working afternoon shift.

Drawing from your well-rounded experience and demonstrating a commitment to health and safety, you will be a pivotal member of the team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be accountable for the effective and efficient warehousing and distribution function.

Working afternoon shift, 12.00pm to 8.15pm (this may change to 2:00pm to 10:15pm in the future), you will take on a hands-on role responsible for:

- Loading/unloading containers and trucks;
- Put away of product;
- Picking;
- Stock checks;
- Assist in maintaining an effective distribution system;
- Inventory management;
- Sorting and preparing all related documentation;
- Assist in induction and training of warehouse personnel;
- Work with the team and warehouse manager to identify opportunities for improvement and implement best practices;
- Ensure on-time delivery service is maintained;
- Work as a key member in a well-functioning team.

**About you**

Skills & experience you have include:

- Demonstrated experience in warehousing and distribution, preferably in a medium to large warehouse;
- Current forklift/stock picker license (or willingness to obtain);
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities;
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills;
- Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office;
- Sound time management and organisational capabilities;
- Ability to work and contribute within a team;
- Current right to work in Australia.

Qualifications in warehousing and logistics or related discipline will be highly regarded.
