**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**:_(Include but not limited to:)_**
- Payroll administration and processing of the Fortnightly payrolls for approx. 250 employees in total, across AUS, Fiji & NZ.
- Fortnightly timesheets review and processing, bonus & Incentive payment processing.
- Provide backup and data entry support to payroll officers for the processing of other fortnightly payrolls and miscellaneous tasks.
- Keep all information in the Payroll & Time & Attendance systems up to date with new employees and general data maintenance.
- Carry out requests in a timely manner
- Run ‘End of Payroll’ - reports, fortnightly for all Payroll companies, ensuring these are completed within required timeframes.
- Ensure Compliance Fairwork, policies, and Modern Awards.
- Display exceptional service to all internal and external parties.
- Display innovation through inspiring, creating and improving processes and products.
- Show integrity in all aspects of the position, taking responsibility and delivering on the promise.
- Display leadership values by ensuring effective communication and respecting your peers and managers. Support others within the team and empower each other wherever possible.
**KEY POSITION CRITERIA**:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Abreast of Fairwork compliance and exposure on interpretation of Modern Awards - Clerks & HIGA (essential)
- High attention to detail (essential)
- High productivity in output (essential)
- Intermediate Excel skills (essential)
- Previous exposure to working within payroll 5 years min (essential)
- Ability to take ownership for area of responsibility, but also to take advice and direction from other Payroll team members
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and work to critical deadline
- A strong team player with a desire to continuously improve, both personally and professionally
